Feeling ready to spread a little love? I’m on a mission to share more kindness this year, and what’s better for that than celebrating Valentine’s Day?
For parents, holidays also mean classroom celebrations. So I checked out one of my affiliate partners, swoozies.com, for Valentine’s Day party prep and gift ideas. (Being an affiliate means if you click through these links and buy something, I’ll get a small share of the sale.) I’m even breaking it down for you and adding a few extra Pinterest ideas, just to make all the time I waste there useful for someone.
These Love and Arrow Treat Bags are sure to stand out at any party, and I’ve never seen anything like them. (This is exactly the type of thing I’d try to make myself and end up failing miserably because the pieces on the arrow wouldn’t stick together, or whatever stickers I bought wouldn’t hold the bag shut, hah!) These would be great for popcorn, sweet pretzel sticks or maybe even something like white chocolate snack mix.
The actual valentines are the star of the show, of course! Some years I’ve gone all out and tried to make something homemade like these butterflies with suckers attached. Other times, I’ve just ran out to grab the standard box full of Disney princess valentines off the grocery store shelf.
If you’re looking for something different this year, these chocolate-scented love notes would be great for classroom exchanges.
I also really liked swoozies.com’s vast selection of personalized valentines, so you won’t have to do any of the writing — totally a plus when you’re pinched for time. These Bee Mine notes are so adorable, for example. And there’s a huge selection, so if dinosaurs or unicorns are your kid’s thing, you’ll find something that will work.
Need something sweet to gift to a teacher or neighbor? This jar of mini chocolate chip cookies is just too cute! Or maybe this little can of conversation hearts. Those are always my fave on Valentine’s Day.
Don’t forget your besties! These drink napkins really speak to my mindset, hah! They would be a great gift with a bottle of wine, or even something to hang onto for your next girls’ night out get together. And this little makeup bag would be practical yet charming.
If you’re looking for other ideas — say maybe for what to make for breakfast or a little home decor — check out my Valentine’s Day board on Pinterest.
